Rating is based on indicating one’s popularity in social networking services like Facebook, Twitter, etc., as well as on rating points purchased by fans to support their hero. Someone decided to figure out who everyone thinks is the most famous person ever, hence the name Most Famous Person 2013. Michael Jackson is #1 as of 12/14/12, but don’t let that fool you. He’s been place 2nd to Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga once or twice each. Part of this voting is a scam to allow the creators to make money, but it does allow you to vote more than once – You vote once and then you have the option to pay for more votes to add to the artist’s rank number. The winner will receive an award, recognition, etc.
